Constructive Play

Collect some twigs and and sticks on your walk. You will also need a paper, glue, q-tip and a white paint .

Explore different ways the sticks could be put together before adding glue. Can a tree be tall? Can it be short? Can it be wide?

Use a thicker and bigger stick for the base . Use the small and thin twigs for the branches. Glue them on the paper.

Use q-tip to make snow all over the tree. Using a q-tip is excellent for fine motor practice for the little hands. This acitivity can also extended by talking about parts of the tree and how tree change in winter.
