In order to meet this standard, it is expected that students will

• make observations and/or measurements to provide evidence of the effects of weathering or the rate of erosion by water, ice, or wind (5.8 d)

• model weathering, erosion, and deposition and explain the benefits and limitations of the model(s) created (5.8 d)

• locate, chart, and report weathering, erosion, and deposition at home or on the school grounds; create and implement a plan to reduce weathering, erosion, and/or deposition problems that may be found and discuss the results of the experiment (5.8 d)
