American Sign Language 1B
American Sign Language 1B will introduce students to the basic vocabulary, grammar, fingerspelling, numbers, Deaf culture, and history of American Sign Language. American Sign Language 1A is a 5-credit course that fulfills the A-G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements. Note, middle school students taking American Sign Language 1A will receive A-G credit, however numerical high school will not count towards a high school diploma per California Education Code.
