Zoology

In Zoology, students study the comparative anatomy and physiology of animals. The course includes the structure, function, development, and adaptations of invertebrates and vertebrates. Students also develop an understanding of the role and contributions of zoos as learning laboratories for animal science, conservation, research, and the preservation of endangered species. Zoology is a 5-credit course that fulfills the A-G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements.
