College Application Essay Writing

Honors Writers Seminar A (course title on application) is a senior-level writing course is designed for students to learn and create the necessary personal statements needed for their college applications. Students will engage in strategies that help them dive deep into who they are to produce an authentic essay that will convince any officer of the admissions committee to accept them into their school. Students will journey into the rehearsal, draft, and revision process of the Narrative and Montage structures to reveal their best writing for any common or UC application. Honors Writers Seminar A is a 5-credit honors course that fulfills a G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements.
