German 1AB
The purpose of Edgenuity German 1A and 1B is to develop both a basic proficiency in communicating in the German language according to the cultural practices of Germany and an awareness of the history, geography and cultures of regions where German is spoken: Austria, Switzerland, and neighboring regions. German 1 is a 5-credit course which fulfills A-G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements. Note, this is an Independent Study Edgenuity course where students work independently through the course. Note, middle school students taking German 1 will receive A-G credit, however numerical high school will not count towards a high school diploma per California Education Code. German 1A and 1B is a 5-credit course that fulfills the A-G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements.
