Honors Psychology
Honors Psychology will provide you with a broad introduction to the field of psychology, one of the social sciences. We will focus on individual and group behaviors and why an individual/group thinks, feels, and reacts to certain stimuli. Major emphasis will be placed on socio-cultural diversity, social interactions, stages in childhood and adolescence, how the brain works. This survey of psychology will acquaint you with the major concepts and terminology of the discipline and give you a better understanding of self and others. Honors Psychology is a 5-credit honors course that fulfills the A-G requirement of the UC/CSU Subject Area Requirements.
