We began the day with an energetic and fun dance session before heading off to the Victoria and Albert Museum to explore their theatre collection.
Next we went on a fascinating backstage tour of the National Theatre which included a behind the scenes look at their props and set building facilities.
Finally, we watched the tense and dramatic play Jitney at The Old Vic.
We started the day by learning some more West End dance routines. After lunch we went to The Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond to watch The False Servant.
The day started with a tour of The Globe followed by an acting workshop in which we explored Shakespeare’s text. Then we watched King Lear.
We kicked off the morning with our usual dance class learning routines from musicals. This was followed by a clowning workshop with Told By An Idiot theatre company. Students found their inner clowns!
We then headed to The Barbican where a former Latymer Student working on the show Anything Goes gave us a backstage tour. Students got to stand on stage and see how everything works backstage too. This evening we going to be in the audience for Anything Goes the musical.
We started the day with our usual dance class and performed all of the routines that we had learnt this week.
Then, actor Cleve September who is currently in Bonnie and Clyde the musical came to talk to us about his career and about working in musical theatre.
Next we headed to an escape room and all managed to break out in time! After a meal, we headed to watch the thrilling Bonnie and Clyde the musical.
