We have arrived at St Ives station, a short walk away from the Cohort hostel. Looking forward to settling in and getting onto the beach.
We did lots of activities at Bosavern organic farm - learning about mono-crop and multi-crop farms, handling chickens and picking eggs, looking at a hybrid bee colony and sowing vegetables!
After dinner the sun decided to show up so we headed down to the beach - only for the rain to return. This hasn’t dampened our spirits though!

The sun came out just in time for our crossing to St Michaels Mount. We learnt all about the island's history and explored the exotic plants in the gardens before having lunch on the beach.
This afternoon we are off to visit Tate St Ives and the Hepworth sculpture garden before doing a spot of souvenir shopping
DAY 4 - Thursday 30 June
We’re on the way back from a fantastic day at the Eden Project. In the morning, we did a Jungle Connections workshop where we learnt about how much the Rainforest is a part of our everyday lives, from food to medicines. We then explored the Rainforest biome, looking for our own personal connections to the plants inside. We spent the afternoon exploring the Mediterranean biome and the gardens as well as the art exhibitions. A truly fantastic end to a great week!
DAY 5 - Friday 1 July
We’re up bright and early to catch the train back to London. Due back into Paddington at 2:30 this afternoon.
