Most the of day was spent travelling after an early start setting off from Latymer at 6am arriving to Delphi Resort at 3.45pm. After a tour of the centre there was a quiz and then an early night.
An action packed second day. Unfortunately due to the high tide and strong winds we were unable to go kayaking, however we did manage the aerial trek, zipwire and team-building skills through the Jacobs Ladder, which were all thoroughly enjoyed by the students. Then, after lunch, as the weather began to improve we went down to surf at Carrownisky Strand.
Today we visited the beautiful Lost Valley, where we were given a tour of a coastal farm that included the historic Uggool village which had been greatly impacted by the Potato Famine of the 1840s. The students enjoyed the opportunity to feed the lambs and observe the sheepdogs at work and sheep shearing. After lunch, we then had the opportunity to go kayaking and some more ziplining. The evening rounded off with a campfire and fashion show.
