Researching The Problem:
In this step of the design process, a person would conduct research to make their idea perform the best job and solve the problem with the best solution. It is important to research about the topic because without knowing what is better or worse can change the whole outcome. Researching includes: Online research, reading books, talking to experienced people, and watching documentaries. Without this step, it would be almost impossible to make the best invention to support a problem.

When it came to researching about different racers, one of the most important aspects to look at was the materials being used. In addition to researching about the materials, looking at the different designs changes the overall performance of the racer. The materials had to be easily accessible because, some materials might be more expensive or out of the student's reach. After my research was done, I had decided to create a design that was basic but had its perks.
