RESULTS-EMAITZAK

Inspired by the idea of Friday Photo shared by Noa Daniel.

Students worked in ten international teams within the eTwinning project.

1. Look at the facts. What can you see?

2. How does it make you feel? What draws your eye immediately?

3. What is the image trying to tell us? What exactly is happening in the photograph?

4. Evaluate: Title the work by synthesizing what you’ve learned

Students read/watch news about the photo and reflect on the issues depicted within a group discussion jamboard to evaluate it.

- Consider the following Qs:

Who took the pic? Why? Did the girl give her consent? Was she in position to give consent? How is and has this image been used by others, dehumanise, tokenise, spread single story narrative about Muslim woman?

- Before the “Evaluate” step: What happened when they found the Afghan girl some years later?

Ebaluazioa amaitu baino lehen, Sharbat Gula edo "afganiar neska" bezala ezagutzen dugun argazkiari buruzko ikerketa egin dugu.
