Q. Summarise what you did in this activity/project and how you interacted with others?

A. In this service, Me and my friends went to an old age home and celebrated Christmas with them. We bought some cake and snacks for the old age people and gifted them with a Christmas tree. 🎄

Q. Explain what you hoped to accomplish through this activity/project?

A. We hoped to make the old age people happy by celebrating Christmas with them and giving the feel of what is it like to celebrate Christmas with a big family together.

Q. How successful were you in achieving your goals? What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?

A. I was successful in achieving my goals as the old age people were very fun and they really enjoyed celebrating Christmas with us. It was difficult to arrange a cake and snacks because I had to check for any disease like diabetes and cholesterol problem the old aged people had. But in the end I managed to find everything and made their day amazing.

Q. What did you learn about yourself and others through this activity/project?What abilities, attitudes, and values have you developed?

A. After i finished with the activity i learnt that i was able to socialise with people who i do not know of and that i am more confident than i think i am. While doing the work i realised how much of work is put into these events and how consistent the organisers were. From the activity/project i developed skills like communication and confidence.

Q. How did this activity/project benefit others?

A. This service helped me to raise awareness among my friends about the old age home.

Q. How can you apply what you have learned in other life situations?

A. when I will have job, a very important skill would be ability to work in a team. This activity has certainly improved this skill for me.
