1) What do you most hope to achieve from CAS?
A. I hope to achieve personal knowledge and have opportunity to gain awareness of the world in a range of diverse and challenging situations. I hope to learn new skills, talent and develop new interest in this programme which help me try to understand my strengths and weakness and learn how to plan things out.
2) How do you think your CAS programme will enable you to grow? How do these areas of growth apply to the attributes of the
IB learner profile?
A. I think CAS programme will enable me to grow as it will be giving me opportunities to engage myself in activities, creativity and services which I have never experienced before and It will give me a room to face my fears. IB learner profile would include my interests, skills and talents, plans and goals for the CAS programme and help me to develop an awareness of myself in relation to the CAS learning outcomes. Attributes of the IB learner profile that could be associated with this could be being a risk taker, caring, a communicator, thinker, open-minded and principled
3) What are your main interests? How can you incorporate these interests into your CAS programme?
A. My main interests include searching about automobiles, cycling and gardening. I could incorporate these interests into my CAS programme by growing a Tulsi plant and donating it to Temple as it is considered auspicious and also help people who really needs it.
4) What issues of local significance concern you most? How could you address these in your CAS programme?
A. The local significance which concern me the most is poverty. Everyday I see poor people begging for food to survive and are exposed to harmful environment like pollution and COVID 19 virus. I would like to donate mask to these homeless people and feed them food which they need the most to survive.
5) Have you made any plans for creativity? Activity? Service? For each, what are you hoping to learn or do you have skills you
want to develop?
A. Yes, I have made plans for all of the CAS strands and for each I am hoping to learn perseverance, commitment and learn how to be independent. I have chose some activities to develop new skills for example, I want to learn photography so I planned it under the creativity strand of CAS.
6) From the plans you already have, do you see any opportunities that may be helpful in meeting these learning outcomes?
A. From my existing plan, I see the opportunity to Identify my own strengths and develop areas for growth and undertake challenges and develop new skills in the process of this programme. With some of my plan I can see myself developing a sense of commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences and I believe that I will be Demonstrating engagement with issues of global significance with my plans.
7) Have you thought of how you will keep evidence (and the types of evidence) that you are engaging with CAS and are meeting
the CAS outcomes?
A. I have planned to take Photos and videos of the experience in each CAS strands
8) How can you keep track of your plans and meeting the learning outcomes through your portfolio?
A. I can keep track of my plans and meeting the learning outcome through out my portfolio by just keep on adding and updating any new or planned CAS experience in my portfolio which I will be doing over the time period of 2 years.
