Q. Summarise what you did in this activity/project and how you interacted with others?
A. I tutored multiple students from various grades online. I assisted them with their schoolwork and assignments. We would even study together before an exam on occasion. Students would contact me via mail or social media for assistance, and we would arrange to meet after school.
Q. Explain what you hoped to accomplish through this activity/project?
A. I hoped to assist students with their schoolwork and, maybe, to improve their attitude about schoolwork. Students were unmotivated to work since they had been online all day for school; nonetheless, I would try to divert them from all of the stress by talking about something other than school.
Q. How successful were you in achieving your goals? What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?
A. Because there were so many of us willing to assist, it was difficult to get an appointment through the NHS website. I opted to question them in person since I suspected that some of them would be too shy or ashamed to ask for aid.
Q. What did you learn about yourself and others through this activity/project?What abilities, attitudes, and values have you developed?
A. When it comes to teaching and learning, I've learned that I can be fairly patient. I also learned how to better manage my time and arrange my days. Peer tutoring also introduced me to new ways of learning and studying. My time management, critical thinking, communication, and social skills all improved. I learned the importance of time and stopped delaying as much.
Q. How did this activity/project benefit others?
A. My friends benefited from this experience. Hopefully, they were able to get clarity on issues they were struggling with and do better on tests as a result.
Q. How can you apply what you have learned in other life situations?
A. I can put the skills, attitude, and values I've gained from this exercise to use in a variety of scenarios. For instance, while doing projects, studying for a test, or teaching someone something new.
