Q. Summarise what you did in this activity/project and how you interacted with others?
A. I went hiking with several friends on October 15, 2020. Climbing the mountains cleared my head and allowed me to forget about my IB assignment worries. The most essential exercise in this activity was walking and ascending at low altitudes and with little oxygen.
Q. Explain what you hoped to accomplish through this activity/project?
A. Through this activity I hoped to gain some hands on experience in Outdoor Agricultural Learning. Gardening is something that not only helps my physic but also helps people connect with nature which is what I intended on doing so, I wanted to provide my contribution towards something that will help the natural environment community.
Q. How successful were you in achieving your goals? What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?
A .Climbing brings serenity of mind and body. It also increases stamina and strength in my legs. During this trek, I spent quality time with my friends, and we spoke about subjects we generally can't do and have time to talk about seriously.
Q. What did you learn about yourself and others through this activity/project?What abilities, attitudes, and values have you developed?
A. Uphill routes are often exhausting, difficult, and make you want to give up. Nonetheless, we pushed our way to the summit, overcoming major obstacles along the way, and eventually arrived. It's difficult as we go up, but there's a route downward as we go up. Everyone in my friend group assisted each other, thus I was able to achieve. Despite the difficulties, I learned the fortitude, leg strength, and lung capacity to persevere. Even though I desperately wanted to, I couldn't. When it became difficult, I took a breather, altered my speed, and continued climbing.
Q. How did this activity/project benefit others?
A. This was a solo activity, but my buddies made trekking simple and enjoyable because we were chatting to each other and having a nice time with each other's company.
Q. How can you apply what you have learned in other life situations?
A.Cooperation and collaboration are two important skills I've learned from this endeavour. There will undoubtedly be numerous circumstances in my life when I will encounter people who do not carry out jobs in the same manner as I do, therefore I will attempt to be patient while also cooperating with the other person and understanding their techniques and thoughts.
