Career-Based Intervention (CBI) endorsement: This is not a teaching license but an endorsement to an existing teaching license. The endorsement is for teachers who currently hold a valid K-12 teaching license. Minimum requirements for admission into the program include a baccalaureate degree, teaching certificate, two-years teaching experience, and one- year work experience. To be a CBI instructor in Ohio, you must:
(1) Teacher holds a Baccalaureate Degree;
(2) Teacher holds a current Ohio Professional Teaching License;
(3) Teacher has TWO full years of successful teaching experience under a Professional, Permanent, Resident Educator or Five-Year Career-Technical Teaching License;
(4) One year of full-time work experience outside of education.
Courses can be taken in any sequence.
