Mrs. Brandel's Message

Dear Falcon Families,

This week's newsletter is filled with lots of photos of the fun that has been had this week at FES! Eclipses, musical performances, BIG EVENTS, playdays, and appreciation breakfasts- it has been a week of community, celebration, and Falcon Pride! We love making memories together and are grateful for our FES family!

The falcon spirit was on full display as we  joined in with the entire district in serving our community at the Big Event last Saturday!  Thank you to all the families who shared in this wonderful event, who donated, and to our teachers and students who put their hands and hearts together to provide for the needs of our community!

As our 3rd and 4th grade students prepare for state testing on next Tuesday, I am incredibly proud of all the work that they have done throughout this entire year not only academically, but also the growth they have shown this year in becoming even more responsible, independent, confident, curious, and skillful!  As a reminder, due to testing regulations, we will not be able to accommodate visitors on campus on Monday-Wednesday.

Thank you, once again, Falcon family, for your ongoing support and partnership!

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this beautiful weather!

In Falcon Spirit!

HIGHLIGHTING THE TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE AT FLORENCE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

The Big Event

Thank you to all of the falcon families who joined us last Saturday and to everyone who donated to our service event! Together, the FES family was able to create 177 friendship bracelets, clean up the park behind our school, make 20 blankets for the Salvation Army, and collect hundreds of grippy socks for the nursing and rehabilitation center!

Total Eclipse

We had the BEST time experiencing the excitement of the total eclipse during our viewing and loved having our families joining us! There is nothing better than getting to share experiences through the eyes and wonder of a child, which made it even more exciting!

Choir and Marimbas

We were in awe of the talents of our choir and marimbas students put on a show-stopping performance under the direction of Mrs. McIntire!  Congratulations and great job!

Volunteer Appreciation breakfast

On Thursday, our teachers and staff had the opportunity to celebrate our amazing FES volunteers with some delicous, made with love breakfast goodies!  We are incredibly grateful for the people who support us as Watchdog Dads, PTA members, room moms, workroom helpers, events supporters, and CEIC members, among many other ways our volunteers help each day!

4th Grade Playday

Our 4th grade students joined students from Shady Grove Elementary and Liberty Elementary today at Timber Creek High School for 4th Grade play day where they competed in running and field events!  The Falcon spirit was in full "four"ce today with our forth grade student!
