Our living site will change quarterly with varied content reflecting global diversity. It is intended as a source of some information and an opportunity to reflect on cultures, experiences, and events but is not designed to cover everything. Please do check back to see refreshed content soon.

Intersex Awareness Day – 26 Oct | Highlighting human rights issues faced by intersex people.
Islamophobia Awareness Month (UK) – A month dedicated to tackling prejudice against Muslims.
UK Disability History Month – 20 Nov–20 Dec | Exploring the history, challenges, and achievements of disabled people.
International Men’s Day – 19 Nov | Focusing on men’s health, positive role models, and gender equality.
Transgender Day of Remembrance – 20 Nov | Honouring lives lost to anti-transgender violence.
16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – 25 Nov–10 Dec | UN campaign to end violence against women and girls.
World AIDS Day – 1 Dec | Global solidarity with people living with HIV/AIDS.
International Day of Persons with Disabilities – 3 Dec | Advocating for inclusion and rights of disabled people worldwide.
Human Rights Defenders Day – 9 Dec | Recognising those who protect and promote human rights.
International Migrants Day – 18 Dec | Recognising the contributions and rights of migrants.
Christmas Day – 25 Dec | Christian celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Our Watch section brings together short films, talks and personal stories that highlight lived experiences across different communities. These videos explore themes such as race, gender, sexuality, health and identity, offering both education and inspiration. They’re designed to help us see the world through different perspectives, challenge assumptions, and celebrate diversity in all its forms.

For those of you like to listen, we gathered a range of interesting podcasts looking at history, mental health and diversity.
There is plenty to do here if this is your preference, complete a short free course on; Diversity in Religion, British Sign language or learn a bit more about Ukranian Language and culture. Attend an event celebrating Black History Month or support the stance against homophobia in sports by downloading the #kickitout app.
When people think of diversity, they may think first of ethnicity and race, and then gender. However, diversity is much broader than that.
