Here we have sourced a range of short courses, assessments and productivity hacks to help you to develop your time management skills. Pick an assessment or course that interests you and start turning your knowledge into useful business skills.
Learning to stretch our thinking skills is integral to accelerating our development. This is a really important part of the learning process, and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and show progression in your Apprenticeship.
Here are two challenges for you to pick from- should you choose to accept, this will help you to develop critical thinking, evaluation skills and encourage creativity.

Challenge 1: AI Research and Analysis
Choose an AI application or tool related to your field of study or area of interest (e.g., AI-powered chatbots, recommendation systems, natural language processing). Conduct research to understand its functionality, potential benefits, and limitations. Analyze the impact of this AI application or tool on the industry and its potential future developments. Make notes on your findings and discuss them with your talent coach and work mentor.
Challenge 2: Hands-on AI Experience
Identify an AI tool or platform that offers a free trial or limited access (e.g., IBM Watson, Google AI Platform, TensorFlow). Sign up for the trial and explore its features and capabilities. Choose a specific task or problem you want to solve using the AI tool (e.g., text analysis, image recognition, predictive modelling). Implement the AI tool for this task and monitor your progress and results. Document the steps you took, any challenges you faced, and the outcomes you achieved. Make notes on your findings and discuss them with your talent coach and work mentor.
Reflect and Evaluate
At the end of your chosen activity, evaluate your overall experience and the effectiveness of the AI tool you used. Reflect on what you learnt, what went well, what could be improved and how it could benefit your company, Consider the ethical implications of using AI in your chosen context and potential strategies to mitigate any negative consequences. Discuss your evaluation and reflections with your talent coach at your next review.
