Digital Technology

Nimitz Elementary School prides itself on being a 21st century school that uses 1:1 technology instruction to build effective student engagement and skills that will be important to present and future needs. In order for Nimitz Elementary faculty members to teach effectively, Nimitz Elementary students must use the provided technology with proper physical care, and ethical decision making. Outlined below is the Nimitz Technology User Agreement (which must be signed every school year) and our Beginning of the Year Digital Technology video. If you have questions regarding technology use please email tony.pablo@k12.hi.us.

Nimitz Elementary and Go Guardian

Nimitz Elementary School students use computers (laptops, chromebooks, ipads, etc) during the school year. To help keep your child safer and more scholarly online, we have adopted online services provided by GoGuardian.

It may be helpful to know that over 10,000 other schools use GoGuardian to protect 5.5 million students across the world, and the Global EducatorInstitute has endorsed the GoGuardian Teacher product.
