MS conferences are designed to report on student progress and provide brief conversations with subject teachers. Conferences are scheduled once a semester during the first and third quarters of the academic year.
An email will be sent out a few weeks in advance inviting parents to book conferences with teachers. These conferences happen in middle school classrooms on the Cilandak campus.
Through JISnet, parents can book 10-minute conference slots to speak with their child's teachers to understand their class progress. Should a more in depth conversation be needed, an additional meeting can be scheduled at another time.
MS Conferences provide parents an opportunity to be apprised of where their child is on their learning journey while reflecting as a partnership with the student and teacher, as to what the learner's strengths, areas for improvement, and next steps might be. This partnership exemplifies our MS values.
The dates for the Middle School conferences for 2026-27 school year are:
Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th September 2026
Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th February 2027
Additionally, requests for individual conferences may be arranged as needed at any time during the school year and may be initiated by parents, students, teachers or administrators. Parents may request to meet by contacting teachers involved, or by calling a MS counselor. Parents are advised to work through the counselors when necessary.
