I had to do a lot of research to understand more about what immigrants go through daily. As well as the amazing things they have been able to accomplish over the course of their lives. The similar experiences each of them went through. In the first few pages besides the introduction and table of contents, there are vocabulary words. The 21 Hispanic Countries are identified in the Padlet. For the next few pages, I was assigned to three Hispanic countries and pinpointed where they were located. After that is the main part, Hispanics who contribute in S.T.E.A.M: Scientists, Technologists, Engineers, Artists, Mathematicians. For each one of them, I added a picture, when they were born, the flag of their home country, their main achievements, and the national anthem of their home country. Page 14 shows the landmarks and cultural heritage of Equatorial Guinea. I've added my own video there along with a few YouTube videos and pictures. I used Thinglink for this page. We also learned about the diversity index of my county compared to others. Pages 15 and 16 talk about people in my class, their personal experiences, and project reflection. The end slides are the website sources. As mentioned before, there were a lot of varieties to this project, but in the end I think it turned out perfect.
This project was created by multiple apps such as; BookCreator, Padlet, Genially, Culture Grams, Thinglink, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
