PROCESS:
Preparation
To do this assignment, I first used my iPad to access Google Classrooms. On Google Classrooms, I went to the said assignment page via Ms. Sithu's classroom, which was where I found the Google Slides for my project as it was attached. After reading my slide on the Slides, I opened the attached YouTube video for further instructions and downloaded ARMAkr onto my iPad through the Self Service app. I messed around with ARMAkr for a bit to familiarize myself with the software.
Research
Since the water cycle is another easy topic, as it is taught a lot of times in school, I did not have to do much research. All I had to do was find the proper words to use with several diagrams I could find on Google.
Designing
With several diagrams for reference and one main one by ScienceFacts to base the design of my map on, I went ahead and started several rough drafts on ARMakr. This took a while as I wanted it to look good, but when I discovered how to make things flat after asking Ms. Sithu, things were much easier. I made each part of the map via Keynotes by using the software's drawing and editing tools. When I finished designing each part, I downloaded them as PNGs. I eventually came up with a final map to use. I also made several loose script drafts on the same Google Docs that I used to store my main diagram. I did this at home and school.
Recording
I tried recording with each draft, too. I used a separate physical small microphone provided by Ms. Sithu to take each audio. Originally meant to be a home project, I could not find the proper conditions, so I had to do it at school instead (this took almost two weeks). On the deadline day, I decided to somewhat start fresh again after several rough attempts before it. I redid the script again and some parts of the map, which took ~8 minutes. After doing this, I immediately started recording the videos with the audio as there wasn't enough time to do the assignment. After doing 5-8 draft recordings in 30 minutes, I decided to fully try my best on the next two recordings as the class was about to end in 10 minutes. Fortunately, although rushed, both videos came out well, and I attached them to my assignment on the assignment page on Google Classrooms then submitted the assignment, officially completing it.
