A message from Admin
Parents, we will begin winter conferences January 16 - February 2nd. This is an opportunity for teachers to conference with our new to WJES families and conference with students that are not currently on track with academics. Teachers will reach out to parents to schedule a conference. Teachers will also be sending home report cards, MAP family reports, and updated academic information to all families.

Just in time information
Pre-Kindergarten lottery registration for the 2024-25 school year is now open. Families can register for the lottery through Friday, February 16. Please note this application does not guarantee admission into a Pre-K program inside the Jackson County School System, but is rather an application into the lottery. JCSS will hold a lottery drawing in March and families will be notified following the drawing. To register, please visit Jackson County Registration. It is VERY IMPORTANT for all families to set up an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. Click HERE to set up your child's account. This account allows you to receive important school messages through the Remind app, see student grades and attendance. If you have trouble with this process, email Mrs. West (rebecca.west@jcss.us). After a parent portal account has been activated, please allow 24 hours for the information to sync with the Remind app to be able to message teachers. If you are unable to use Remind at any time, please send your child's teacher an email.
