The day is here! You can now register for our West Jackson Panther Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $30,000 for Outdoor Spaces & Books. Registering is easy and free!

Author Visit
Author and illustrator, Nick Mask, will be visiting WJES on Friday, March 1st to kick off our Read Across America Week! We can't wait to see what adventure Waffles the Cat gets into. If you would like to an autographed copy, please return your order form with your book selection to Mrs. West by Thursday, February 29th! Cash (exact cash $15) or a check (made payable to Nick Mask) are the only forms of payment.

We have so many different things to celebrate in February. We have Black History Month, Groundhog Day, Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, and President's Day. Here are several great read aloud books that you and your student(s) can share together.

It is VERY IMPORTANT for all families to set up an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. Click HERE to set up your child's account. This account allows you to receive important school messages through the Remind app, see student grades and attendance. If you have trouble with this process, email Mrs. West (rebecca.west@jcss.us). After a parent portal account has been activated, please allow 24 hours for the information to sync with the Remind app to be able to message teachers. If you are unable to use Remind at any time, please send your child's teacher an email.
