Dear Families,
We look forward to Field day with you and your student. Here is some important information:
Parents must check in through the front office.
Events will begin at 9:00 a.m. with rotations of events and will conclude at 11:30.
Students will take a break and eat lunch in the classroom.
Parents are welcome at morning events but we will need to conclude parent visitors after the mid day break due to space constraints.
Please be sure to send your child in appropriate dress (ie: tennis shoes, hat, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, etc.). Please feel free to join us, but be sure you sign in through the front office before joining your child for field day. You will then return this sticker to the front office when you leave for the day. If you have never signed in before please be prepared with your ID to get a sticker. Please arrive early and be patient as we sign all parents in.
Remember to bring:
an extra pair of clothes (Your child will get wet at field day!) & a bag to put the wet clothes in.
a towel for the firetruck spray event in the afternoon (and to sit on in the grass) PreK will not participate in the afternoon activities unless stated otherwise by their teacher.
a water bottle (there will be a refill station out on the field)
(optional) money for afternoon treats/snacks provided by PTO
Please remind your child to:
Play safe and have fun!
Have good sportsmanship!
Cooperate and work together
Use good manners! We will have a lot of wonderful volunteers. We want to let them know how much they are appreciated.
Please let us know if you have any questions!

Just in time information
It is VERY IMPORTANT for all families to set up an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account. Click HERE to set up your child's account. This account allows you to receive important school messages through the Remind app, see student grades and attendance. If you have trouble with this process, email Mrs. West (rebecca.west@jcss.us). After a parent portal account has been activated, please allow 24 hours for the information to sync with the Remind app to be able to message teachers. If you are unable to use Remind at any time, please send your child's teacher an email.
