Document all services and communication being offered to students with disabilities (see below in record keeping)

Establish communication between regular educators, special educators and other service providers (speech, OT/PT, counseling) for each, individual child in order to help the family with scheduling services
IEP’s, NOREP’s and PBSP’s and other paperwork may need to be updated to meet the unique situation on online or alternative education plans

Review IEP goals and SDI’s to determine how services can be provided during this alternative educational time
Align your plans with school district goals (Maintenance of skills or Learning new skills)
Communicate with parents about changes or modifications to service delivery which may lead to changes in documents (IEP, NOREP)
Consider updating NOREP’s to reflect changes in education during online or in home learning time
Districts will need to obtain signatures from parents
Does your district have a policy for electronic signatures
Review policies regarding electronic signatures and updating NOREP’s with your school district solicitor
Systems like iReady, Dibels, CBM’s and Spring Math have built in online progress monitoring that can be continued
Schedule zoom meetings with students to complete PM probes on an ongoing basis, if appropriate
Maintain a detailed record of interactions with students and parents listing topics covered

Share access to service log for every individual working with a particular student/family so that documentation is up-to-date (ie. Special ed teacher, Regular ed teacher, Counselor, OT/PT, Speech, etc.)
Coordinate services between various providers to assist families in scheduling for those services
