Discover more about our LearnOn+ Opportunities - Bite-Sized Asynchronous Professional Learning!
Google Slides is great for presenting (similar to Microsoft PowerPoint), but there are many other ways to use Google Slides in your virtual classroom. This overview will show you some quick tips and tricks.
When we use Google Slides for Discussion, we create a shared slide deck with all the students we want to involve. Each student is assigned a slide on which they can type their response. Make sure you select "Can Edit" when sharing this slide deck with students via email or Google Classroom. It is best practice to type each student's name on the slide you are assigning to him/her.
This will go over how to add audio to your slide-decks so that you can embed audio instructions into your Google Slides. This is another way to help move lectures or specific directions online.
This video will show you how to get your Google Slides to play automatically for asynchronous learning and presenting in an online environment.
