Scholarship Opportunity
Do you want to change the world? There is a $500,000 scholarship for you. Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google, has committed $1 billion to equip brilliant youth with the resources and support needed to address humanity's most pressing problems. The Rise scholarship program is the result. Each year, Rise selects 100 winners to receive a lifelong scholarship that includes up to $500,000 in scholarships (for university and beyond) as well as mentorship and access to career development opportunities.
Want to apply? You are eligible if you are born between July 2, 2004 and July 1, 2007. Here is the process:
Step 1: Rise uses a smartphone application to select students for this scholarship program. Click this link (https://gethelloorg.page.link/wDwx) on a mobile device and download the HelloWorld application. Create a profile by 22 December. Everyone who creates a profile gains access to workshops and trainings that will help you become a future leader.
Step 2: Create and submit a project by 16 February, 2022. Want ideas? Rise's website says: "You could develop a new product, software service, or business; build a social or political movement; write a body of research; create a piece of music, art, performance, or film; or anything else." Submit your project and do a few final tasks.
Step 3: Rise selects finalists and winners.
Click here to download the app and begin the process: https://gethelloorg.page.link/wDwx. If you do not have access to a smartphone to apply via the app, you can apply here (and please mention Mēto as the way you learned about the opportunity).
We are very excited to announce that on December 18th, our office will organize a webinar about RU’s MEXT fully funded scholarship with a MEXT scholar guest speaker Ms. Tran Vi Khanh. Since MEXT scholarship has always been a hot topic for Myanmar students, it would be terrific if you can spread the words to your students about this webinar.
I have attached more information and the event’s registration link down below.
Please kindly check it out and if you have any inquiry or comments please let us know
