Summer Programs - Some of you and your parents are starting to look for programs to engage in over the summer. But, did you know there are programs you can do over the December break as well?

UNIVERSITY VISITS



Imperial College London and The University of St. Andrews

The talk will cover the different undergraduate systems in the UK and the application process as well as the transition to university study and university life. We will also briefly introduce the University of St Andrews and Imperial College London. As we have mentioned before, both very good universities but different from each other in so many ways.

Hopefully you will be able to join us on the day but please also register if you would like a recording. The session should last about 1 hour 15 minutes. Students, their parents, school counsellors, or anyone else interested in finding out a bit more about university in the UK is welcome to join – please feel free to share this invite and registration link.

Studying in the UK – talk with Q&A

Join our various sessions to learn about our study programs, scholarships, application process, and more!

  • Each session is about 20-30 minutes followed by a Q&A

  • Some sessions are offered more than once to accommodate different time zones

  • All times refer to Central European time (CET)

  • Earn a certificate for the participation in a web lecture

  • After you register, you will receive an e-mail with the link to join the session

Current Microbiology: The Antibiotics War (Dec. 7th at 14:00 CET) will focus on the problems of the mass use of antibiotics and how to tackle the challenges.

Economic Globalization and International Trade (Dec. 8th at 12:00 CET) will provide an overview of concepts and theories of economic globalization.

Introduction to Data Engineering (TBC, Dec. 8th at 15:00 CET) will provide insights into Computer Science and Data Engineering.

As always, students who participate in the web lectures will get a participation certificate.
