CAS is regular and ongoing for at least 18 months during the two-year IB Diploma Programme.
CAS runs from the beginning of your IB Diploma Programme, i.e, August of Year 1 (Grade 11/ Junior Year) and must be completed by April of Year 2 (Grade 12/ Senior Year). If CAS is not completed, the IB Diploma cannot be awarded.

SEMESTER 1
August:
Introduction to CAS via CORE Classes (in the TOK period)
CAS Supervisor will be assigned to individual students
CAS Timeline officially begins
NOTE: any experiences prior to this date cannot be submitted as CAS experiences
September
1st CAS Interview of IBY1 to be arranged and conducted with assigned CAS Supervisor
AT LEAST one experience in EACH strand must be started
Introduction to CAS Project via CORE Classes (in the TOK period0

CAS Progress Report will be issued
Parents and Students have the Parent-Teacher Conference to discuss concerns or questions (if any)
November
1st CAS Check-In with CAS Supervisor
December
CAS Semester 1 Report will be issued
SEMESTER 2
Jan/Feb
2nd CAS Check-In with CAS Supervisor
By February, students should have their CAS Project proposed and approved by their CAS Coordinator and ready for execution
March
CAS Progress Report will be issued
Parents and Students have the Parent-Teacher Conference to discuss concerns or questions (if any)
April/May till the end of the academic year
2nd CAS Interview of IBY1 to be arranged and carried out with CAS Supervisor
CAS Semester 2 Report will be issued

SEMESTER 1
August:
1st CAS Interview of IBY2 to be arranged and carried out with CAS Supervisor
September to December:
Continue with CAS experiences
Senior Week will have allocated CAS Work periods
Students will be given time to work and conduct check-ins with supervisors to update CAS Portfolio
CAS Project MUST be completed by the end of Semester 1 of IBY2, if they haven't already
SEMESTER 2
February:
1st CAS Check-In with CAS Supervisors
IB/AP Mock Exams
March:
CAS ManageBac Portfolio to be completed
CAS experience supervisor reviews to be requested and completed
April:
Final CAS Exit Interview with CAS Supervisors
