Summary: CAS is a non-assessed IB Diploma requirement.
No 'CAS hours': CAS is regular and ongoing for at least 18 months during the two-year IB Diploma Programme.
CAS begins at the start of the IB Diploma Programme, i.e. August of Year 1 (Grade 11/ Junior Year).
CAS must be completed by April of Year 2 (Grade 12/ Senior Year). If CAS is not completed, the IB Diploma cannot be awarded.
