Check if registration for the class is open.

If the registration is open, fill out the registration link.

(If it's not open, wait until it is open.)

Wait for someone to call you back to schedule your reading test.

If you don't hear back for a week, email Paulina pkohan@isd271.org or call the office 952-681-6170.

Take a reading test.

Take a Northstar test if you need it. Northstar test is a test to check your computer skills. Some classes require it. You can take it in the Metro South office.

Find out if you can take the class or talk about other options that you have.

Ask your teacher if you can take the class you want. This depends on your reading test score.

If you have high enough test score, check if the registration for the class is open.

If the registration for the class you want is open, fill out the registration form. If it's not open, wait until it is open.
