Class is online and self paced.

Students log in on their own time and study when they can. The course is aligned with the new Citizenship exam.

Basic requirements:
Minimum ESL High Intermediate level of English proficiency (score 207 on STEPS test).
Need to have been a permanent resident of the United States for 3 years,
Don't know your score? Ask your teacher!
Are you a new student? Fill out the registration form or the interest form if registration is closed first.
*Priority at registration is given to the current Metro South students.

This class is very helpful for anyone who is preparing for their citizenship exam.
This class teaches you about American government, history, and geography. This includes studying the 100 civics questions from which a USCIS officer will ask up to 10 during the interview. To pass, you must answer at least 6 correctly.
