Ohio State Testing Season will begin in April and run through early May. Each school is planning the best fit for students in grades 3-8 and for students taking Algebra, Geometry, English 10, Biology, American History, or Government. Stay tuned for more information from your child's school about BVA student state tests.
You may have found hidden talents this year by serving as your child's learning co-pilot. Well, get ready to change things up. We're at the point in the year when warmer weather and longer days may contribute to some spring fever in all of us. So, what do you need to know about keeping your child engaged in learning for our final quarter?
More than ever, this is a time for students to explore their interests as a strong motivator to practice and deepen the learning skills they've grown this year. Additionally, now is a good opportunity to reinforce routines after bedtimes and daily schedules may have gone to the wayside during our break (as they should have). Finally, scheduling time for play outside for everyone in the family is a must and will help to bring focus to work times as well. I hope these articles will bring a little inspiration to all the learners at your house in the coming weeks!
Students on School Grounds
As the weather becomes nicer, hopefully we'll all feel more motivated to get outside! Just a reminder that students may not be on school grounds unless they are participating in an activity with Indian Hill faculty or coaches. We would love for our BVA students to join face to face building teams and clubs, if that fits with your family's health considerations. If participating in face to face activities is not a good fit, consider taking advantage of Stephan Field, Camp Denison Memorial Park or the other natural park spaces in our area!
