Celebrate Reading!

April is National School Library Month and it's National Library Week!

Celebrate National School Library Month and National Library Week by helping your child to check out a book (or three) from school or from the Hamilton County Public Library. #IHBVA students have been able to continue reading through the creative support of our school media specialists and aides this year.

Did you know???

"Americans go to public libraries more often than they go to the movies."

Find out more fun facts about libraries here.

Participate in the #MyLibraryIs promotion on social media

"Celebrate National Library Week 2021 by sharing what you love about the resources and services available at your library. Post to Instagram, Twitter, or on the I Love Libraries Facebook page, about an e-book, audiobook, virtual storytime or bookclub, or how your library has made a difference while you've been social distancing at home. Use the hashtag #MyLibraryIs. We'll gather all the entries, and one randomly selected winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card. The promotion starts Sunday, April 4 at noon CT and ends on Saturday, April 10 at noon CT. Don’t forget to tag your library!

If you love your library, say it loud and proud: vocal community support helps libraries secure much-needed funding and reminds hardworking library staff that their efforts are appreciated. Participating in the #MyLibraryIs promotion is a quick, easy way to help your library thrive!"

Policy Check-In

Students on School Grounds

As the weather becomes nicer, hopefully we'll all feel more motivated to get outside! Just a reminder that students may not be on school grounds unless they are participating in an activity with Indian Hill faculty or coaches. We would love for our BVA students to join face to face building teams and clubs, if that fits with your family's health considerations. If participating in face to face activities is not a good fit, consider taking advantage of Stephan Field, Camp Denison Memorial Park or the other natural park spaces in our area!

Upcoming Events

Senior Speeches!

This year, Senior speeches for both the Commencement Ceremony and the Senior Celebration of Excellence will be selected through an audition-based process. We invite anyone & everyone to apply who is interested in giving one of these speeches!

For any additional information, please see Mrs. Cottrell in the Counseling Office.

Suggestions for speeches:

  • -Have a trusted adult review your speech (English teacher, counselor, etc.).
