Sequoia National Park is a park located in southern Sierra Nevada, in the US state of California.

Established in 1890 as the second largest national park in the United States, after Yellowstone National Park, it covers an area of 1,635.14 square kilometers, and contains within it Mount Whitney, the highest mountain in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii. This park is famous for the highest sequoia in the world.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a sculptural rock complex located in South Dakota on the Black Hills mountain massif, formed by huge granite blocks. It represents American presidents Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln. Construction began in 1927. In 1941 the sculptor died, but his son completed the sculpture with the help of 400 workers.

The Grand Canyon is located in northern Arizona. It’s a big canyon 446 km long and 1 857 m deep. This extraordinary river valley was created in 70 million years by the Colorado river.

The statue of liberty was inaugurated in 1886 and it is an important symbol of New York. Located at the port entrance on the Hudson River in the middle of Manhattan Bay, on the rocky Liberty Island, the full name of this huge statue is ‘Freedom that lights up the world’. It was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States and every year it is a great tourist destination.
