Our school stands proudly at the heart of Pembroke Dock, a town with a rich educational tradition dating back to the 19th century. The area’s first schools were established in the 1800s, growing alongside the town’s historic dockyard and serving generations of local families. Over the years, Pembroke Dock’s schools have evolved from small private and church-run institutions to a vibrant, inclusive community school. Today, Pembroke Dock Community School continues this legacy, providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for children from all backgrounds, and recently making history as the first school in Pembrokeshire to be awarded the National School of Sanctuary Award for its commitment to welcome, safety, and inclusion 1 2. We are proud to build on the foundations laid by our predecessors, helping every child to thrive as a valued member of our community.
