Target audience: Year 6 class-teachers, Primary International Language Co-ordinators, Primary Literacy Co-ordinators.
Simplifying the process of teaching and learning (Welsh, English, Welsh as a second language, French). This course offers participants the opportunity to:
Implement a creative approach proven to raise learners’ language and literacy achievements regardless of their background, gender or ability.
Implement structured learning stories proven to motivate and enthuse learners within a fun and creative format.
Enable learners to master literacy skills in Welsh/English so they can then easily transfer the skills to English/Welsh second language and then French in Year 6.
Use the same proven strategies and format across all three languages.
Be able to teach French as a third language with increased confidence.
Extend their use of French vocabulary and phrases and model correct pronunciation in French.
Model writing in French correctly.

Target audience: Class-teachers and teaching assistants in Welsh and English primary schools.
To promote the use of the Welsh language from a young age in a fun, simple way through song and creative activities.
Staff and learners using correct Welsh vocabulary and language patterns when communicating daily and incidentally throughout all progression Steps and areas of learning and experience.
Increased confidence amongst staff and learners as well as an enthusiasm towards speaking Welsh.
