On Tuesday we blind drew our journey to school as a line, then looked at in different ways to turn it in to something else.

It's been a busy week this week, finished off with a cool day at the beach on Friday. Our whanau sculpture competition was to create a waka, they were tino rawe!
We are starting our days off with fitness and biking. It's a great way to start the day and spend some time with our year groups.
Friday morning is Year 6 leadership time. We are thinking about what it means to be a leader, what we need to be leaders and we will be developing leadership projects around the school. One of the first things we did was to write some goals for what we wanted for our leadership. This week we began peer mediator training. Peer mediators are a really important role in our playgrounds helping people to find solutions for problems.
