Why is it popular?
ASU Prep Digital supports the student in a number of ways. Each student is paired with a Success Coach who helps map the student’s goals and acts as a mediator between the parent, teacher and student.
ASU Prep Digital works closely with Arizona State University (ASU) to be leaders in digital education and innovation, employing game-based learning and interweaving virtual reality into their curriculum.
ASU Prep Digital uses Rosetta Stone Foundations for their world language content along with discussion based assessments and three weekly live lessons which offer conversational opportunities.
ASU Prep Digital uses effective and consistent communication with the student, including the use of discussion-based assessments throughout the course (key one-to- one time with the instructor), see Sample Video.
What do ASU Courses look like?
Students will receive excellent and consistent support from ASU’s Success Coach, learning course content through a variety of the below:
Weekly live lessons (this is mostly for world language courses; students attend to practice speaking and listening)
Reading, videos, and projects
Labs (Biology and Chemistry labs offered virtually. Physics requires the student to complete some kitchen-style labs. See Physics Home Lab Material)
Students receive on the spot feedback to student-responses and support from teachers
