There has been some confusion about the WriteAtHome bundle options, particularly when it includes an A-G English class. We understand why this has caused confusion and want to clarify. (Bundles create lower prices per class when two or three live, annual courses are taken by the same student.)
In past years, you/parents chose a writing class + a literature class when enrolling in A-G English, and two separate classes showed up in Canvas.
This year A-G English appears as one class on the enrollment form and in Canvas because we merged two classes (writing and literature) to create streamlined A-G English classes. We're excited about our new, merged courses because everything will be in one place for the students (and for parents and teachers, too). Looking at students' work and monitoring them will be much easier.
When you and your families choose an A-G English course this year, you are still getting two classes worth of oversight and instruction. The price for A-G English is $475 per semester, billed in the fall and spring ($950 per year). When you consider the Bundle 2 and Bundle 3 options, A-G English counts as a Bundle 2 option, not as one class.
Here's the 2025-26 WriteAtHome pricing summary for you:
A-G English (considered a Bundle 2 option): $475 per semester, billed fall and spring
A-G History (annual): $299 per semester, billed fall and spring
A-G English + A-G History (this is a Bundle 3 option): $652.50 per semester, billed fall and spring
A-G Economics, Ethnic Studies, Government (semester courses): $299 per courses, all courses offered in fall and spring
Middle School Literature and History (live classes): $299 per semester, billed fall and spring
Middle School Writing: $299 per semester (taking the A version in fall and B version in spring creates an annual course)
High School and Middle School 8-week writing workshops: $199 per workshop
Self-paced high school and middle school annual literature and history courses: $249 per course
Self-paced high school government and economics courses: $149 per course
