Using paper and a button maker,  I created buttons of Nolans face because we didn't know what else to put on our pin and it's funny. I also wanted to do a short project since it's almost the end of the marking period. This project only took 4 days.

During this process, I learned how to make a button. We asked Jace for help and he showed us. He helped us make our first one and then we made pour secind one by ourselves. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because  I created a design with a unique piece of equipment. This equipment is new to me and I liked learning how to use it. It was not difficult or complex to understand. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was our button mot being put together right. I was able to do it by asking for help. We also weren't pushing down hard enough so it also didn't work. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what we put ont he button . The reason why I would change it is because I now have other ideas for buttons. I could also make buttoons as a gift. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Architecture, Industrial designer, and Interior designer . This CTE connection is my favorite.
