Using iMovie, an iPad, internet images, and a microphone, I created a video about my dogs because I love my dogs. I have 3 dogs. Their ages range from 1 - 3 years old.
During this process, I learned how to use the iMovie app to create and edit my video. I watched tutorials online, and asked others for advice. Now that I understand how to use iMovie, I can use iMovie in my upcoming projects.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I used safe, and copy right free images. I was able to use safe and copy right photos by switching my image search to "creative commons".
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to find copy right free images. I was able to do it by learning how to switch my image search to "creative commons". I can avoid getting in trouble for using copy right images.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the topic of my video. The reason why I would change it is because I couldn't add a lot of details. I would change the topic to wrestling.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in web developer, video editor, broadcast/digital journalist, animator/multimedia artist, videographer, and production assistant.
