Using iMovie and an iPad, I created a video about the 3 sports I play because I enjoy talking about sports. I do diving, wrestling, and track and field. My main sport out of all 3 is wrestling. I recently just started diving last March and I have quickly excelled. I do track and field in the spring after wrestling season to keep me active.

During this process, I learned how to add titles, find images that are copyright free, and add music to my video. Although I knew how to do most of those, I forgot and had to relearn. I searched YouTube tutorials and asked my peers for advice.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to because digital citizen because I use copy right free images. In order to use copy right free images I had to switch my search engine top creative commons. I had trouble with this last year but I was able to fix it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was voice over editing. I was able to do it by using google, YouTube, and asking my peers for advice. The most effective way to overcome my challenge was asking people with experience for help. They were able to visually show me so I could understand better.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of details in my video. The reason why I would change it is because I could add a lot more detail about my topic. I could go more in depth about each sport. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Applications developer, Digital marketer and Games developer. I believe that in the future there will be a lot more digital multimedia jobs.
