8P7- Green screen

HERE IS MY VIDEO! (FYI Its 10 minutes and 47 seconds long)

Using the green screen and my Ipad, I created a podcast sort of thing. I did this because I have seen multiple videos of it from other people and thought it would be a fun idea. I had so much fun making the script and editing the video. I was not a big fan of actually filming the video though. Also, with the video being so long, it is hard to actually upload. That took a while.

During this process, I learned how to add a background to a green screen. When you are on Imovie, you first add the background you want. Then you go to the thing you just filmed with the green screen and go to the options. You should see gree/blue screen. Click that. That's all you have to do.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collarorator. This is because I am putting my work on this website which everyone can see.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to use the micrephone. I was able to do it by watching a video about how to use the microphone. I ended up realizing that I couldn't plug the cord to the microphone into my Ipad so I just went without it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how much practice I put into saying the script. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I wasn't that good at saying the whole thing without looking at the script. I am not the most exitited perosn either. I mostly just did it so I could write the script. I like writing scripts.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  This is because I am digitally adding the backround to my video.

My project connects to careers in graphic designing. This is because they use fonts, colors, images, and other things to help get the poin that they are trying to make across easier. I feel like the backgrounds I chose showed the fun sort of vide I was going for. I do think that that carrer wasn't as aparent until I explained it.
