It's called a pulley. I know a dumb name.
Mr. Renner made us do a job evaluation or somthing like that.
3D printing time.
Using some filiment, a 3D printer, and tinkercad, I created a pulley, a pen, and a container to hold the ink in. Everyone is like what is that! It gets kind of annoying after a while. I wish people could actually understand what a pen is. A PEN!!! I hope they relise what a pen is because nearly three-quarters of professionals prefer taking meeting notes with pen and paper. If they don't know what a pen is soon they'll get laughed at.
During this process, I learned how to put holes in my progect on tinkercad. First get out the object you want to put a hole in. Secondly, make it the size you want it to be. Third, get out the obgect for the hole. Foutrh, make the second obgect the correct size. Fifth, click on the sceond object and make it 'Hole'. Sixth, put the 'Hole' where you want it on your first design. Finally, group the two objects together.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator becauseI am sharing my progect with the whole intire world. As I said in my classroom standards section, a Global Collaborator is when students use on line tools to expand their viewpoint of their learning by collaborating with others and working successfully in teams locally and globally. Students in this category will use on-line tools to connect with learners from a many different backgrounds and cultures, engaging with them in ways that expand mutual understanding and learning. They also use collaborative technologies to work with others, to examine problems from many viewpoints. Also they contribute effectively to project teams, having multiple roles and responsibilities to work efficantly toward a common goal. Finally they will explore local and global issues and use collaborative technologies to work with others to look into awnsers.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make sure that I used the right amount of filement. I was able to do it by changing the size of the whole area I was working with to a 3 by 3 area. This made it so I wouldn't go over the limit for the size of my progect. (Obviously😑)
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the size. The reason why I would change it is because it ended up to be a lot smaller than I wanted it to be. Apperintally I don't have a good conseption of how large somtiong is if I'm only given the measurements. 💬

My project connects to careers in design engineer because they research, develop, and modify designs for various projects, focusing on functionality, efficiency, and user needs, while also manage the process of turning designs into reality using tools like CAD software. In more detail a design engineer applies engineering principles and creativity to develop new products or systems, or to improve existing ones. They work across various industries, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to translate concepts into functional designs. They are involved in all stages of product development, from initial conception to manufacturing.
