7P4- Augmented Reality

Using a merch cube, a computer, and an iPad, I created a story about hunting because I thought it would make a good 6 part story. Besides, who dosen't like a good hunting story (not saying mine's that good). It also reminds me of when I'll go hunting with my dad. Finally, were going to The Great Smokey Mountians for spring break and there are 2 bears per square mile there. So, I think it was kind of obvious I'd make this story.

During this process, I learned how to turn the progect without eveything falling off and somehow floating in the air. You do it by holding down the right pannel of a mouse, then drag over everything and turn it all. I got help to figure this out from Bentley (the one below me).

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  Global Collaborator because I shared my progect with the hole world. My project also ties to Knowledge Constructer because I didn't know how do do it and now I do.  I'm kidding. I only did that to make Mr. Renner mad but insead it ties to Knowedge Constructer because I looked up videos on how to do things like change the color of the Merch cube.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make a video witout getting Ryan in it. I was able to do it by grabing a large peice of cardboard and putting it between us. It kind of worked. I still got some of Ryans finger in it because he was trying to be annoying. Eventually, I got a video with only my fingers in it (well not just my fingers but you get the point).

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the detail. The reason why I would change it is because I don't feet like it had enough detail for a story. It isn't clear on who the girl is, where she came from, how the sword keeps spawning out of nowere, yeah there's a lot of detail that could have been added that I didnt add. Honestally though, I don't know how to explain the sword.

My project connects to careers in game desining because game designers use a variety of tools and techniques to create games that overlay digital elements with the real world. It also connects to a 3D artist, also known as a CGI artist, because they create digital art with depth and spatial realism using software to model, animate, and create visual effects for various projects like video games, films, and commercials.
