Using Petunia, I created a race because races are fun, exiting, and always have a different outcome. Also, I have a lot of experience in racing myself. I feel like racing is kind of the proper thing to do for a XC star (XC means Cross Country).
During this process, I learned how to use a dash better. In Elementary School, we used Dashes but didn't get much freedom. All we did was drive the dash forward 20 slowly. We had to wait for everyone to finish to make it turn left. End of class.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator becauseI am sharing my progect with the whole intire world. As I said in my classroom standards section, a Global Collaborator is when students use on line tools to expand their viewpoint of their learning by collaborating with others and working successfully in teams locally and globally. Students in this category will use on-line tools to connect with learners from a many different backgrounds and cultures, engaging with them in ways that expand mutual understanding and learning. They also use collaborative technologies to work with others, to examine problems from many viewpoints. Also they contribute effectively to project teams, having multiple roles and responsibilities to work efficantly toward a common goal. Finally they will explore local and global issues and use collaborative technologies to work with others to look into awnsers.
A challenge I overcame on this project was dealing with Owen. I was able to do it by not arguing and letting him do what he wanted. Occasinally I ofered sugestions but I did what I was told to and I was fine.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the difficutty of the cource. The reason why I would change it is because if we took a picture of the course, we would have been able to continue the same course. I wish we would have thought of that on day 6.

My project connects to careers in robot programing because a Robot Programmer writes, tests, and modifies programs that control the actions of robots. Obiousally this connects because we were using robots. Actually, we were programing robots. The words fliped.
